The White House hosted the summit to bring together My Brother’s Keeper groups from communities across the state to brainstorm ideas to further the program and listen to students ranging from eighth grade to college freshmen.
Founded in 2009, Beyond Expectations is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, dedicated to mentoring adolescents in grades 6 through 12 in Orange County, NC. On two Saturdays each month, youth participate in a variety of activities to support them academically, emotionally, and socially.
Volunteers work closely with parents, teachers, counselors, administrators, and community partners to promote participants' success.
Together, we are building brighter futures for the children of Orange County.
